1. Botany- is the study of plants.
2. Zoology- is the study of animals.
3.Microbiology- is the study of microorganisms.
Minor Branches of Biology:
1.Cytology- study of cells.
2. Ornithology- study of birds.
3. Histology- study of Tissues.
4. Anatomy- study of animal form.
5. Evolution- study of development.
6. Ichthyology- study of fishes.
7. Parasitology- study of parasites.
8. Virology- study of virus.
9. Herpetology- study of reptiles.
10. Genetics- study of genes and heredity
